Amanda Castricum - Director
Amanda commenced her professional career with Duncan Dovico in the Business Services Division as a Junior Accountant, some 10 years ago.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Commerce degree from La Trobe University, Amanda progressed to the Position of Senior Manager within the Business Advisory division, earning the Chartered Accountant designation along the way.
Amanda manages a diverse portfolio of Business Services Clients within varying industries and has built strong relationships with her clients. She has extensive expertise in supporting and advising her clients in the day to day running of their businesses, encompassing MYOB accounting software support.
In addition, Amanda manages a team of accountants and administration staff, leading and training them on their own professional pathways.
Away from work Amanda's interests include travelling, having extensively travelled throughout Europe, Africa and Asia. South America is next on her to do list! She also enjoys playing netball and spending time with her large family and friends.
Brad Purvis - Director
Brad is a Director and Shareholder in the Duncan Dovico Accounting Practice.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT University and is a CPA and Chartered Tax Adviser.
He owned and operated his own business and practice for over 20 years prior to joining forces with the Duncan Dovico team.
He brings significant commercial experience and expertise to the practice in many areas including:
- Business Planning, Business Consulting and Strategic Advice
- Advice relating to the Sale and Acquisition of Business
- Commercial Negotiation
- Business Structuring
- Taxation Advice
- Finance, Banking and Property related Advisory Services
Christopher Cicutto - Director
Christopher works with a broad range of clients across varying industries including, real estate, transport, construction, engineering and professional services firms.
From smaller businesses through to larger corporate clients, Christopher provides strategic and technical advice across a number of key business issues including taxation, business risk and business strategy with a commercial and common-sense approach.
He adopts a “quasi-CFO” role in many of his clients businesses and is an active member on many Boards. He assists clients with their financial modelling needs including budgets and forecasts to not only enable Boards to make key decisions for their business but also to measure the outcomes of their decisions.
Christopher prides himself on being able to adapt and tailor his services to all of his clients and he has strong communication skills.
Christopher is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Richard Russell - Senior Manager
Richard commenced his professional career with Pitcher Partners in a tax and accounting division in 1992, before joining Duncan Dovico in February 2003.
After obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Melbourne, Richard then focused heavily on his athletics talent for 10 years before committing to the CA Program conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and successfully completing it in 2003. His work experience even includes a short stint in the UK.
Richard manages a diverse range of some 1,500 clients. This exposes him to a range of personal taxation issues including; residency, capital gains tax, estate planning, employee share plans, rental properties and to the compliance obligations relating to self-employed clients.
In addition, he manages a team of accountants and administration staff, leading and training them on their own professional pathways.
Away from work Richard's interests include football (one-eyed Carlton supporter!), running, cycling and travelling. He has visited over 30 countries and has not lost the appetite for seeing more...
Jeremy Stork - Senior Manager
Jeremy commenced with Duncan Dovico in June 2008 as a Manager dealing mainly with small to medium size businesses.
He began his working life at Coles-Myer in accounts receivable and was employed there for 15 years before entering the professional accounting world as a Manager.
He brings over 19 years of experience to the Duncan Dovico practice and deals extensively with all facets of accounting and tax including GST, Fringe Benefits Tax, and Capital Gains Tax and in the preparation of detailed financial accounts and tax returns.
In addition he has an in depth knowledge of various accounting packages to assist his clients, including MYOB and Cash Flow Manager.
He has also studied financial planning successfully completing a number of units towards the Diploma of Financial Planning.
Sporting Interests include football (AFL) and cricket. He insists the last decent game of football was the 1964 grand final (obviously a Melbourne supporter!). Other interests include music and movies.
Graeme Seymour - Manager
Graeme’s professional career commenced in 1968 with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers). During the next 18 years he has worked in the small business/taxation area with a range of clients including high wealth individuals, primary producers and other SME businesses with turnovers ranging in size from $500k to $20m .
Since 1990 Graeme has been part of the team at Vin Crowe & Associates and its antecedent firms, and has been providing accounting, taxation and advisory services, including MYOB and Quickbooks expertise, to individuals and small business clients.
Graeme’s interests outside of office hours include Veterans Cricket, community service and travel.
Gamini Balasooriya - Manager
Gamini joined Vin Crowe & Associates in 2003, as a taxation manager. Prior to this, Gamini has spent 14 years at KPMG and PWC offices respectively at managerial positions in taxation and business consulting divisions.
Gamini has a wealth of taxation expertise in all aspects of tax compliance & planning matters for variety of business structures in a broad range of industry sectors. He has considerable experience in business structuring and reorganizations, business reviews and valuations, business planning and tax planning advice, R&D tax incentive, private taxation rulings and tax dispute resolution. He has advanced hands-on skills in many business systems including SAGE, Handi-soft, MYOB, QuickBooks etc.
Gamini manages a portfolio of Business Services and Taxation clients operating in many industry sectors and has built robust relationships with his clients, bankers and professional networks.
His qualifications include Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Taxation from ATAX - University of New South Wales. He is also a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and CPA Australia.
Nasr Hussain - Senior Accountant
After a short spell with another accounting firm in 2007, as a graduate SMSF Auditor, Nasr commenced working with Duncan Dovico as an SMSF Accountant in 2008. He has progressed to become a Senior Accountant within the firm, where he has further developed his expertise in the field of Self Managed Superannuation Funds.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Accounting) Degree and is currently pursuing a post graduate degree of Masters in Accounting.
As a Senior Accountant, Nasr's role involves peer level review of Super Funds, overseeing the compliance function, and assisting team members with their various tasks and responsibilities.
Outside of work, Nasr enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is a die-hard sports fan with a special affinity for cricket and given a chance, would have cracked it as a top level cricket player!
Pei-hua Loke - Senior Accountant
Pei-hua graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. She commenced her career at Duncan Dovico four years ago as a graduate accountant in the Business Services and Individual Tax Divisions.
Since then, Pei-hua has successfully completed the Chartered Accountants program.
Pei-hua works closely with Amanda and Christopher on a diverse range of clients. She has sound technical skills and is able to provide extensive support in relation to compliance and taxation issues. She is also responsible for a portfolio of individual tax clients.
Outside of work, Pei-hua enjoys travelling, food and reading. In her spare time, she browses recipes for inspiration and cooks up a storm.
Andrew Politini - Accountant
Andrew completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at La Trobe University mid-2008. He then ventured out to find the ideal work environment. His journey only lasted a few short months before finding the model work place that is Duncan Dovico.
Just over three years later, Andrew is becoming well-versed in individual tax returns and is continuously on the learning curve assisting with client companies, trust and self-managed super fund work. He is furthering his professional development by completing the CPA program.
Outside of work and when he isn't studying, Andrew likes to be with his friends and family. He likes to train hard and play a little tennis. Andrew is on a continuous journey to eat every cuisine Australia has to offer. If you know of any great places, he is open to suggestions.
Rory Wood - Accountant
Rory started working in the accounting world in early 2004 and has spent most of his time in the Self Managed Super Fund division preparing annual tax returns, financial reports, BAS and IAS returns and engaging with clients.
He completed his Advanced Diploma in Accounting in 2006 and then went on to complete his Bachelor of Business in Accounting in 2009. Both courses of study were undertaken at Swinburne University. He is currently midway through completing his CPA studies.
Away from work Rory enjoys playing golf most weekends at Rosanna Golf Club off a handicap of 2 and also plays pennant for the club. He is currently engaged and due to marry in March 2012. He also loves his electronic music and is a keen supporter of the Richmond Football Club.
Yanti Tanto - Accountant
Yanti has recently joined Duncan Dovico and is enjoying her role as an Accountant within the Business Services and Taxation divisions'.
Prior to joining Duncan Dovico, Yanti worked for a number of years in a smaller CPA practice based in nearby Eltham.
Yanti has spent most of her professional career as an accountant within the taxation and business services areas and in addition she has gained valuable experience within the self managed superannuation area.
Yanti completed her Bachelor of Business (Finance) studies at RMIT. She is currently undertaking further studies and is progressing with her CPA qualification.
Outside of work, Yanti likes to pursue her passion in food, her friends believe she is a food enthusiast, not just eating but also cooking. She also enjoys classical and opera compositions (and she adores Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Elaine Paige and plenty more).
Radha Kandasamy - Accountant
Radha joined Vin Crowe & Associates in 2011 as an accountant within the Business & Taxation Services Division.
Radha holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Queensland University of Technology, is a member of CPA Australia and is a Registered Tax Agent.
Radha has over 19 years of experience in the Accounting Profession in various Accounting Practices.
Away from work Radha’s interests watching cricket & travelling.
